Russell West was born in Portsmouth, U.K. in 1964. Russell has lived and worked as an artist in London, the Philippines and Hong Kong, travelling extensively through Asia and China in the Eighties and Nineties.
He turned full-time professional in 1990. He has had numerous exhibitions and a varied array of commissions worldwide, both private and commercial. At present, he lives in Isle of Wight with his Japanese wife, Sachiko, and their dog, Jack.
