From the very outset, Will has always been inspired and influenced by the sheer brilliance and creativity of our natural world. The colours, patterns and textures that can be found anywhere we choose to look, give us a world that has inspired not only artists, but mathematicians, scientists, adventurers, researchers... anyone that is open to the discovery of the “built in” beauty that surrounds us, all as a result of the life on our planet.

In his series “Back to Life”, Will chooses materials that are by - products of nature’s life cycle. He is inspired to create vibrant and eye catching artworks that highlight the special relationship we have with the living world, raising our awareness of the efforts that are needed to protect our planet from the ravages of pollution and climate change.

The “Coral” series is created from fragments of bleached coral found washed up on beaches and shorelines. Inspired by the glorious colours to be found on healthy and vibrant coral reefs, Will has used these tiny fragments painstakingly adding back selected spectrums of colour to create a small and unique collection of work. For him this series indicates a very special example of the stunning beauty of our natural world, and the importance of appreciating these exceptional environments for future generations.
