Every year, Woolff Gallery transforms the Barn in Froxfield back into a sensational pop-up contemporary art gallery. This year was no different. Undeterred by the layers of bunting, wall-paint and graffiti, Woolff Gallery got to work to get the Barn back up and running...

Remnants of the Barn's previous existence as a birthday hang-out remained. This meant a LOT of sanding for Apolline and Gabby to get the walls back to their original state.

Meanwhile, Sils and Nick went to Travis Perkins to see about a new floor...

They brought back a Toyota-full of cement mix...

and the chef, hard at work...created a beautiful new floor.

After two whole days, sanding of the front room and the new floor was complete. We got to work re-plastering the walls in preparation for a fresh layer of paint.

No one was spared from the thin coat of plaster dust - not even the boss, or this South Downs frog, which we managed to save from the woodwork and re-release back into the wild.

This is how far we got up to...

Not bad for a first weekend.
