With flowers in full bloom and butterflies returning with the warmer weather, Susila Bailey-Bond heralds a feeling of enlightenment in her latest series of three-dimensional collages. Five new papercut works feature shimmering dragonflies, silver-tipped butterfly migrations and cerulean blue petal assemblages, all of which reflect on brighter reverberations to come: that elusive glimmer of lighter evenings, the ebb and flow of the lunar eclipse, and an underlying sense of hope unique to spring.

This exquisite wall installation depicts a throng of miniature butterflies in several shades of blue which form a light, dreamy circle. Fanning out in all directions, they indicate a sense of transience and joy, with highlights on some of the butterfly's wings picked out in silver leaf.
