The first in our series of focused exhibitions for Spring 2022.

Here Joanne Tinker has recreated a selection of some of her classic works such as 'Goblets' and 'Take a seat', as well as a selection of her new works which are inspired by collections of seeds. All of the artworks on display are created using gold coloured materials.

GOLDEN SEED SERIES

We all know the value of seeds, without seeds there would be no food, plants, humans or animals.

Here Joanne Tinker has created artworks based around these vital organic embryos. Commenting on the culture of waste that we live in by repurposing the foils used, and highlighting the value of the seed by these foils being gold in colour, these tiny elements are painstakingly placed onto handmade rag paper. Framed in a natural wood frame the result is a set of delightful shimmering compositions which could hang individually or as a set.
